The kitesurfing courses are designed so that you learn in a safe and fun way.

We do not recommend that you try to learn this sport alone or with non-certified friends, as you expose yourself to unnecessary risk.

Thanks to the new kite designs, safety systems and teaching methodologies, you can start from approximately 7 years old.

In Tarifa we are lucky to have the perfect conditions for learning this sport. We recommend completing all the learning phases: beginner, intermediate and advanced, in order to become an independent kiter and respectful of the navigation rules and not to endanger yourself or others.

The initiation course usually lasts 3 days, you will learn safety rules, how to fly the kite, first on the sand and then in the water. Finally, you will try to put the board on your feet and sail!

After the beginner’s course, you can continue with the intermediate course or simply take some classes on your own, or even with supervision, depending on the level you’ve reached.

The main objective is for you to become an independent kiter and respectful of safety regulations.

If you come with a group of friends or your family, we recommend the group course, so you can share the experience and have fun with them.

If you come with your partner or a friend, we recommend the semi-private course, where you can only interact with your partner.

If you want a much faster evolution, we recommend the private course.

The kitesurfing group course is designed for a group of maximum 4 students and an instructor. Each student has her personal material but the kite is always shared between two students.

This course is perfect for a group of friends or family who want to start learning this sport and have a good time together.

Semi-private kitesurfing course is only for two students with a teacher. This course is ideal to share with a friend, child or partner.

The private kitesurfing course is designed for students who want to learn quickly, this is undoubtedly the best option. A monitor totally dedicated to you.

However, we can help you choose, depending on the time you have, your budget and your goals.

Group courses are generally for groups of family and friends who come together.

If you come alone and want to do a group course, we can try to group you with other people who are in the same situation and with your same level.

You can continue with the next level course or take individual classes.

You will learn kitesurfing with a duly qualified instructor, with many years of experience, so that you learn in the fastest, safest and most fun way.

We are the only kitesurfing school in Tarifa that has 2 LEVEL II instructors from the F.A.V (mandatory to work LEVEL I)

All instructors must have the official qualification as a kitesurf instructor by the Spanish Sailing Federation. They have to be registered with social security.

They must also have experience, predisposition and a positive attitude.

Thanks to the new kite designs, safety systems and teaching methodologies, this sport is suitable for everyone who wishes to learn it.

Depending on age and physical condition, each person has a different learning pace, but certainly everyone can try this experience.

If you can choose, spring is a good time. The good weather begins, the days are getting longer, all the shops, bars and restaurants are open and there is a great deal of atmosphere. Everything is lively without being overcrowded.

In July and August there are more people, but it also has its charm.

Other suitable months are September and October; and even November and December. More and more people come to spend Christmas and New Year in Tarifa and take the opportunity to take kite courses.

The coldest months are January and February.

Thanks to the new methodologies and security measures, we have been able to introduce the little ones to this wonderful sport, in a safe and fun way.
