Wind conditions at Spot Kitesurf Arte y Vida
The area of Art and Life is the northern area of Playa de Los Lances, it has fine sand and in some places with small stones. The seabed is also sandy and mixed with stone in the far north.
Los Lances Norte goes from the Jara River to Arte Vida.
Kitesurfing is allowed all year round. From June 15 to September 15 there are areas for kitesurfing schools, an area for practitioners and small areas for bathers.
The courses are generally taught between the area of Chiringuito Agua and Waves (4 km from the town of Tarifa, towards Cádiz).
There are rescue boats for Levante days.
There are several public car parks on the beach, as well as bars and showers.
With a west wind: Approximately 40% of the days. Side-on-shore. Normally choppy and small waves of 1 meter. Constant wind.
With a easterly wind: Approximately 50% of the days. Side-off-shore. Normally completely flat sea with all wind intensities and no swell.
With medium swell waves between 1 and 2 meters, with strong swell (very few days per year, generally in winter) waves of 3 and 4 meters. Constant wind.
